Hi! I'm Sara, from Spain. I'm raising funds to support my friend Motaz and his family in Gaza, who have been through extremely difficult times. Please take a moment to read his story:

"My name is Motaz, and I am part of a displaced family of 7 from Gaza. I am writing on behalf of my family, led by my father — the head of our household. This is our story, a story of a family fighting simply to survive.

Since the very first day of the war, when our neighborhood across from Al-Shifa Hospital was bombed, we fled our home and ran toward the hospital seeking safety. But when the Israeli army stormed Al-Shifa for the second time, we were forced to flee again.

From that moment until now, we have been displaced more than 10 times.

Each displacement meant new loss, new pain, and starting life from zero again.

Our home was completely destroyed.

My father’s pharmacy — the only source of income for our family — was also destroyed one month before the war ended, when the army entered Al-Sheikh Radwan area.

We once had a stable life, a home, a car, and a future. Today, we have none of that. No home, no income, and no safety.

We lived in a tent for two years, and the suffering has not stopped.

And despite everything, we continue to help others around us whose situations are even harder — because in Gaza, pain is something we share.

I am 24 years old and was a dedicated software student before the war shattered everything.

In my family are:

• Yamen – 4th grade

• Mohammed – 9th grade

• My sister – a university student trying to continue her studies despite the destruction

Today, my father stands unable to provide even the most basic needs like food, safety, and education, and I am doing everything I can to support him and my family — and to help others in Gaza whenever possible.

I am not asking for much… only for a chance to help my family survive, and to continue extending support to others who are suffering just like us.

Every donation — no matter how small — brings us one step closer to standing on our feet again. It brings back a piece of life after so much loss.
