my name is Jule from Germany, and I am hosting this fundraiser for my dear friend Mostafa Abu Seido, who recently suffered from a hip injury, and is currently unable to walk and work, due to this.

His injury is not only incredibly painful for him, but also a major practical catastrophe for his family, since he is the only one who is caring for his elderly parents, and used to provide food, medication and all other necessities for them. His current situation causes him deep despair and distress, so I hope from my whole heart that we, as a community, will show up for him, until he is able to receive treatment and has completely recovered. All the received funds from this campaign will be transfered to him and his family by me regularly.

A message from Mostafa:

"My name is Mostafa Abu Seido. I am 31 years old, and I live with my elderly parents in North Gaza, where we are living through hunger, hardship, and extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.

Before the war, I owned a small shop that sold kebabs and meat. It was my only source of income, but I lost both my business and my livelihood.

Today, I urgently need joint replacement surgery so I can stand and walk again. My condition prevents me from working or supporting my family. My greatest hope is to regain my mobility so I can work with dignity, care for my parents, and rebuild my life.

My father is in very poor health. He cannot hear, cannot see, and cannot speak. It is difficult to imagine the daily life of someone living with all of these disabilities. My mother is also elderly and suffers from health problems. They both depend on me, yet I am unable to care for them because of my own condition.

My dream is simple. I want to receive the treatment I need, return to work, support my parents, and one day be able to get married and build a family. I do not want to keep relying on charity just to provide food for my elderly, sick parents.

I am now 31 years old, and I have not even been able to provide a proper tent for us to live in. My health also prevents me from moving or working.
