Help a Single Mother Fight to Bring Moses Home

Last Saturday, Moses was taken into immigration custody. Moses is a young man from Nigeria who has been working hard, living peacefully, and trying to build a better life for himself. His sudden detention has left his mother a single mom who has carried every burden on her own heartbroken and overwhelmed.

We have spoken with an immigration lawyer who is ready to take Moses’ case, but the family must pay a legal retainer and other fees before the process can begin. The cost is estimated at $6,500–$7,500, covering the attorney’s retainer, filing fees, case preparation, and the urgent steps needed to fight against Moses being deported.

Moses’ mother is struggling right now. She is alone, scared, and trying to hold herself together while her only child is behind bars. She cannot afford these legal costs, and she cannot do this without help from caring people.
