Support Morris Road to Recovery and Repairs

This GoFundMe request is for assistance with bills, seven new teeth and some new eye glasses after I was involved in a vehicle accident.

I was on the way to Lowe's on my ELECTRIC MOPED when a smelly gas vehicle pulled out into traffic right in front of me.

I used my brakes, reducing my speed to about five mph, but the moped slid out underneath me and I slid across the asphalt with my moped on top of me.

The car driver that pulled out in front of me tapped his brake lights… and then sped off.

Fortunately, a pair of Good Samaritans stopped, helped me stand up, and pushed my moped off to the side of the road.

I was able to stand, and I remembered that the L.A. Fire Dept charges $2500 for ambulance service, money that I do not have, so I brushed off the asphalt and blood, got on my moped, and rode it home—about three blocks—with the Good Samaritans following, then my Partner drove me to the ER.

The Palmdale Regional Medical Center has a portable X-ray machine that they wheeled right into my ER room. They took two dozen pictures of various body parts and then ordered a CT scan of my upper body.

I’m a regular at the ER so they wanted to compare the results to my previous records.

I’ve had two skull fractures, two TBI, and twice in a coma, so as an Autistic with Asperger, I get banged up a lot.

I was covered with a lot of bloody bruises, road rash on my arms and my left glove had been shredded, with blood on the sides, and my left hip muscles were swollen about three inches more than normal.

Fortunately, I was wearing my helmet and my canvas pants from Tractor Supply Company.

If I was 20 years younger...Fuhgeddaboudit!

Now, it’s a different matter. With age comes wisdom... and creaky bones.

I am asking for your help to pay my mountain of bills, to get dentures for my seven missing teeth, and new eye glasses as my eyesight is getting worse.
