Story

I am reaching out to the New England Equestrian Community (and beyond) to share with you all the news of a tragic fire that took place late in the evening of July 8, 2025 at Mor Linn Farm in Walpole, MA. This tranquil piece of Horse Heaven which is home to The Kennedy Family has suffered tremendous damage as the original barn which housed upwards of twenty horse was completely destroyed and eight of those horses/ponies were tragically lost. I know I speak for everyone that knows Catherine, Cormac and their Children that they are an incredible family and the love they have for their horses is immeasurable. Their presence in the Show Ring, Hunt Field and everything in between is strong. This family is facing many challenges in the short and long term. They and their clients have lost horses, hay, grain, shavings, tack, even things as simple as halters and lead ropes. While the cause of the fire isn’t yet clear (there were intense thunder and lightning storms) in the area at the time that is not what matters right now. What is important is being there for them emotionally and financially. I am asking for donations of any amount on their behalf. Thank you in advance.
