Support Moria's Recovery After Her Bike Accident
Donation protected
On Tuesday, June 25th Moria was struck by a van while biking on her commute to work. She was dragged under the vehicle for 15 feet as it scraped and bruised her body, breaking her left fibula, near her ankle. The driver had not signaled and multiple witnesses immediately called for an ambulance. When she arrived at Harborview hospital they were able to keep her broken bone in place with a splint. She is now confined to using crutches and unable to return to work for the foreseeable future. There is no guarantee that she will receive any compensation for her injuries, hospital bills, totaled e-bike or lost wages. The next few weeks/months will be very challenging and we are asking for any help you can spare to weather this hardship. Moria has me as a partner to help her with her day-to-day needs, but food costs, rent and bills are likely to become an issue if this goes on without a financial lifeline for too long.
