Hello,
My name is Morgan Shute. I’m a 17 year old ski-cross racer. I started skiing at two years old. I began my ski-cross racing journey when I was nine years old and have never looked back.
This season is my second year racing FIS. Some of my accomplishments so far this season include five Noram wins and 13 podiums total. I also had the honor to attend the Youth Olympic Games in South Korea and won two silver medals. I am currently first in the Noram overall standings with two races to go. Because of my accomplishments I was fortunate enough to be invited to Junior World Championships held in idre fjäll, Sweden. At this race I will compete against athletes from all around the world ages ranging from sixteen to twenty one. Unfortunately, I still continue to lack financial support as a U.S. ski-cross racer and I hope to raise funds to help support my journey to Junior Worlds.
Competing at this level requires immense commitment, not only in terms of training and preparation but also financially. From equipment costs to travel expenses for competitions, the financial burden can be overwhelming, especially for young athletes like me.
That’s why I am reaching out to my community for support. By contributing to this GoFundMe campaign, you can play a vital role in helping me pursue my passion and achieve my goals.
Every dollar counts and no donation is too small. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in my journey to the highest level.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Morgan Shute
