She probably helped you start a small business, or adjusted your hair feathers at a romance readers gala, or advocated for a cause you also championed, or she just laughed really hard at the worst joke you ever told - with truth in her heart. Whatever hooked you, it's time to show up for her in the way she's shown up for others. If you haven't heard, she suffered a pulmonary embolism on 5/18 and is still in the ICU, far from home in more than one way. When the blood clot turned off her lights, she fell, also breaking a vertebra. I know, some people have all the fun. There may be more surgery in her future. Either way, it will be a long road to recovery.
