I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My best friend, Morgan, was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer with lymph node involvement on July 2, 2024. As you can imagine, this news has been incredibly challenging for Morgan and her entire family.

Morgan is a loving daughter, sister, auntie, kitty mom and friend to many, who has dedicated her 20s to her education and career. She entered her 30s with a bright future – 100 lbs of weight loss and she quit smoking cold turkey. Morgan has always persevered through any challenge that life has thrown her way, and now she needs our help more than ever. Despite the diagnosis, Morgan remains strong and determined to fight this battle with everything she has.

Breast cancer treatment is not only physically and emotionally draining but also financially overwhelming. The costs of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical expenses are mounting. One co-payment per specialist appointment is $50, and sometimes Morgan has 3 appointments per week. Additionally, she is going to need to take time away from work while receiving chemotherapy and recovering from multiple surgeries.
