On the evening of Sunday, April 19th, while on the final day of a family trip to Europe, Morgan received the devastating call that both of her beloved pups, Pneuma and Melo, had crossed the rainbow bridge.

To know Morgan is to know that Pneuma and Melo were never “just dogs.” They were her companions, her witnesses to so much life, her joy and constant presences in her everyday. Especially through the weight of other complex losses in recent years, they were steady sources of love and stability. To lose both of them at the same time is truly unimaginable.

Navigating a loss like this is not going to be a simple or quick adjustment. It is heartbreaking, disorienting, and deeply traumatic. There are practical realities to navigate, but there is also the emotional weight of grief and the long process of trying to make sense of something that feels impossible.

We are raising funds to give Morgan the space and time she needs to grieve without the immediate pressure of rushing back to work. Contributions will be used to help Morgan navigate the days ahead of her as she seeks justice and accountability.
