Mora Pluchino is a loving mother to 14-year-old Nina and newborn baby Josie, and the owner of Practically Perfect Physical Therapy. For years, Mora has dedicated her life to helping others heal, guiding her patients through difficult physical challenges with compassion and hope. On April 1, 2026, Mora and her partner, Jeffrey, welcomed their beautiful, long-awaited baby girl, Josie. What should have been a joyful time quickly turned into a crisis when, just six days later, Mora suffered a devastating hemorrhagic stroke. In an instant, this healthy, active mother, business owner, and healer went from caring for everyone around her to fighting for her own survival.

Since that day, Mora has endured emergency, life-saving medical interventions and remains in inpatient rehabilitation more than seven weeks after this life-altering event. Her family’s world has been turned upside down. Mora is a devoted mother to her daughters, both of whom desperately need their mom home. As the owner of her own physical therapy practice, Mora is unable to work, creating significant financial uncertainty while her family focuses entirely on her healing and recovery. Mora is now preparing for discharge home, but this next chapter comes with enormous challenges. She will require extensive continued medical care, rehabilitation services, specialized equipment, caregiving support, and home accommodations as she works tirelessly to regain her independence and return to her prior level of function.
