For years, I’ve found myself in the same frustrating situation over and over again. Whether it was studying abroad, youth ministry trips, family reunions, weddings, or vacations, one problem always seemed to come up: confusion. No one ever really knew what was happening next on the agenda, where to get updates, or how to share last-minute changes. If something was delayed, canceled, or moved, getting that message out to the entire group was a logistical nightmare.

The larger and more spread out the group was, the worse it became. We tried to fix it with text chains, social media groups, and word of mouth, but it never truly solved the problem.

That’s when the idea for MOOV began to take shape. Three years ago, I started thinking: what if there was a better way? A tool where you could see everyone at an event, communicate with them whether you knew them or not, and quickly catch up with the group no matter where they were. I searched and searched, sure someone else had already built it, but no one had.

So I decided it was time to do it myself.

Now, I’m finally taking the leap to bring MOOV to life. This is more than just an app; it’s a solution to a problem almost all of us have faced, and one that can make every event, trip, or gathering easier and more enjoyable.

The funds from this campaign will go directly toward hiring a skilled development team to take MOOV from concept to code. Think of it like this: every big tech tool you’ve heard of started as an idea scribbled on paper before someone had to actually write the first lines of code to bring it to life. That’s exactly where MOOV is today.
