Moose is my beloved dog, and right now he’s fighting for his life. Over the past month, Moose has been in and out of the vet, and it’s been a rollercoaster of worry and hope. What started as a suspected severe case of IBD has turned into something much more serious. Moose is currently hospitalized at the emergency vet, awaiting a colonoscopy and endoscopy to help us understand what’s really going on. The doctors believe it’s highly likely he has intestinal cancer, but we’re still waiting for a confirmed diagnosis.

The costs of Moose’s hospital stays, tests, and treatments are adding up quickly. Every day brings new challenges and decisions, and I want to make sure Moose gets the best care possible—whether that means pursuing treatment or making him as comfortable as possible if it comes to end-of-life care.
