Support Moo's Emergency Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
Many of us know Shannon Inasy and Eric Clark. Some are even lucky enough to call them close friends. They are first to celebrate us in the good times and by our sides during our lows. They even open up their home to us in times of need. If you have been in their home, then chances are you have been greeted by their cow-print spotted kitten, appropriately named Moo.
Moo fell ill last Thursday. It started off with him vomiting and not being able to eat or drink anything. They took him to vet #1 where the vet downplayed Moo’s condition after X-rays and an exam. They were told to simply monitor him, but Moo did not improve.
They took Moo to the emergency vet on Friday where they examined him, took more X-rays and finally learned that Moo had an intestinal blockage. Finding out the diagnosis came as a relief, but quickly turned back to concern as Moo’s bloodwork showed he was severely dehydrated and needed to be stabilized. After nearly 16 hours of being on fluids, Moo went into surgery at 1 AM on Monday morning.
Moo is now out of surgery and back on fluids as he recovers. Until then, the medical expenses are mounting.
Tonight, I’m starting this account on Shannon and Eric’s behalf to rally our friends and loved ones to come together and support them during this difficult time, like they have done for us on many occasions. No donation or gesture is too small in times like these. Thank you!
