Support Monya's Urgent Surgery

Help our cat Monya Walk Pain-Free

A few months ago, our 2-year-old cat Monya began limping, and we soon learned he has a serious knee condition. His kneecap dislocates easily, causing painful joint issues, and he may also have a ligament tear. To relieve his pain and help him walk comfortably again, Monya needs urgent surgery from an orthopedic specialist, estimated to cost $9,500. Living in a high-cost area, we’re facing significantly high veterinary bills, and with family members in Ukraine going through difficult times, we simply don’t have the funds for Monya’s surgery right now.

Monya’s Story

Monya and his sister were rescued from a dumpster the day before garbage pickup. When we saw their photos, we knew we had to bring them home. Though they were only 8 weeks old and the shelter was hesitant to release them until they were vaccinated, we convinced them to let us foster the kittens until adoption. By 10 weeks old, they were officially part of our family, and they’ve since filled our lives with love and joy.

Monya is a bright, affectionate, and playful cat, and we want to give him the pain-free life he deserves. Any donation, big or small, would be a huge help to cover his medical bills and give him his mobility back. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing Monya’s story would mean the world to us.
