On November 19, 2022, Monty came into our lives. His spunky and sometimes overbearing personality stole our hearts. This pup never stops wagging his tail! Even though his happy persona never leaves, we found a bump on his neck. After a fine needle aspiration, the test results confirmed that the bump was a mast cell tumor. The only good news is that the ultrasound afterward confirmed there was no spread of this cancer.

He will be undergoing surgery to resect the tumor on December 9th. We are confident he will kick this cancer's butt; the main worry is him staying still long enough to heal.
