I am a singer/songwriter based in Montgomery AL. I’ve performed for almost 50 years across the country before returning home and playing regional gigs after recovering from multiple spinal cord surgeries which left me in a wheelchair. I had been able to return to performing locally to supplement my limited Social Security until November 2024 when unexpected and unexplained blood pressure issues became a regular occurrence. I’m undergoing testing throughout December and January to determine if this is a continuing heart issue or related to the spinal cord condition ascending. Any follow up testing and appointments run into March.As a result I am unable to book gigs until I know what I’m dealing with. Hoping that means by the second quarter of 2025!

At the urging of a dear musician friend in the state, I am starting this fund to help offset some monthly expenses through that time and asking for prayers, and good vibes for answers and a resolution soon. And thanks to anyone for any amount to help a sister out and get back to performing!
