Thank you, first, for taking the time to read and maybe help a young father with his long road to recovery.
Montez (T-Ready) McCroskey, a 33-year-old father of one and stepfather of 2, was involved in a serious accident on his motorcycle on March 1st, being struck by an 18-wheeler while on his bike. This accident has been life-altering. He is in serious condition and has had 8 surgeries up to this point, with more surgeries moving forward. He has multiple fractures, serious internal damage, and damage to his extremities that have compromised his ability to walk normal ever again, much less be able to do the thing he loves the most, ride a motorcycle. We are asking for help; he needs a new phone, to pay off his credit cards and his trucking school, new glasses, his car fixed, and rehabilitation when the time comes. There will be a long road to recovery he is still in the ICU. He will need to learn how to walk again so he won’t be working for a while.
Montez has been riding motorcycles his entire life. He has always worked hard for the people and the things he loves. His kindness and willingness to help a friend were well known throughout his community. We are hoping that his community will give back to him for the free car and home repairs, the willingness to show up on moving day for any family or friend, and the love that he has shown to his family, his community, and most importantly to him, his daughter.
