In January 2025, my son Montez Crowe, 30 years old took very ill. I really didn’t know what was going on at the time until he went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and fluid on the lungs. 3 days later, he had to be rushed by ambulance back to the hospital. Montez has never smoked or drank. All he does is work and play his game on days off. Montez spent one week in the hospital where we live, which is Las Vegas. He flatlined 3 times and we had to be airlifted to Utah where they specialize in Hearts. I know no one in Utah so I’m just here alone. I haven’t left his side from day one which is caused a mental physical and financial burden for me. I had to go on FMLA. I have been living in the hospital with him. The road ahead will be filled with financial hardship. I’m so grateful that my son is still in the land of the living. Last Sunday an incident happened that scared me even more, I was in the restroom and I heard a loud boom and that was him having a seizure. He’s flatlined twice since being in Utah. There was not a person in sight all I could do is just scream. The doctors explained to me that he needs a heart transplant ASAP. I just asked that everyone please pray for us because we really need it. Your generosity no matter the amount will help myself navigate through this unimaginable time. They’re saying we’ll be here for at least 3 months more after the transplant. Thank you all so much in advance.
