Montego Bay Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund

My name is Dale Sterling, and I am a former resident of Montego Bay, St. James. Although I no longer live there, Montego Bay will always be home to me. My family and friends have been heavily impacted by Hurricane Melissa, and I am starting this fundraiser to help them recover from this devastating storm.

Hurricane Melissa has left Montego Bay in ruins — homes destroyed, families displaced, and entire neighborhoods struggling to get back on their feet. Many of the people I love have lost everything — their homes, belongings, and livelihoods.

This fund has been created to provide direct relief and support to those most affected in Montego Bay and surrounding areas. Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward:

Supplying food, water, clothing, and hygiene essentials

Assisting families with rebuilding efforts

Helping family and friends who have been heavily impacted by Hurricane Melissa

Purchasing the basic necessities needed after the hurricane, including building materials, supplies, and financial assistance for recovery

Montego Bay is a place known for its warmth, strength, and “one love” spirit — but right now, it needs our love and support. Together, we can help my community, who has lost everything, rise from this storm stronger than ever.
