Who we are:
We are Montana and Cameron. We’ve been happily married for nearly 5 years, and we have two wonderful children; Clementine, age 2, and Auggie, newborn. Montana is still recovering from birthing Auggie, but she is open to freelance graphic design and illustration work. Cameron has recently finished earning his Google Cybersecurity Certification and is looking for work in remote or local helpdesk, IT support, data entry, or customer service roles. He also has extensive delivery driving experience and is open to a local delivery driving job. We have actively been applying to roles for months and haven’t had any success. Please contact us for creative job leads, and tech job or delivery job leads.
Our Story:
Due to a chronic pain condition, Cameron had to leave his job in March 2024. We had to fight for 6 months to receive disability insurance while Cameron was vocationally rehabilitated. We finally received the disability benefits, and Cameron was on his way to earning his cybersecurity certificate. Then hurricane Helene destroyed our rental house, forcing us into a hotel for a week and a half, and draining our savings, until insurance found us a new place to live. Due to a huge misunderstanding with the insurance, we lost that house as well. At the same time, we found out we were pregnant. The hurricane delayed Cameron’s vocational rehabilitation, but he has completed his course and is actively applying for jobs.
The final blow to our financial situation was Cameron’s disability benefits ending as we couldn’t afford to keep getting tests done to prove the severity of his disability. We still don’t have an official diagnosis, but his symptoms lead us to believe he suffers from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in both feet. There is no cure. We have found a promising treatment option that might relieve his pain enough to give him more job opportunities but this treatment costs $1500.
Why We Need Help:
We have exhausted all of our resources. Our debt is piling up. Our bills are unpaid. Rent is due. We don’t have any money for food or basic necessities. We have applied for SNAP, but we’re still waiting for approval. The amount we’re asking for is enough to keep us afloat for another month and a half to give us enough time for Cameron to find a stable job that pays enough to provide for our family.
If you can’t afford to help financially, we sincerely ask for your prayers during this difficult time. God has always provided for us and we trust His timing.
Thank you and God bless♥️
