Support Monster's Medical Treatment and Recovery

Hi I’m Sarah and some of you may know Monster, my 13 year old Maine coon mix who I’ve had since he was a kitten. He is having some health problems and I need your help.

Monster has been previously diagnosed with mega colon and recently found himself backed up again. We spent two days at the vet last week before Thanksgiving getting fluids, enemas, X-rays and bloodwork, and thankfully I was able to borrow the money for that treatment which was over $1000 in total.

I was hopeful he would not need another round but it seems we will need to go back for a repeat this week because he hasn’t had a full bowel movement in several days and it’s becoming urgent in order to avoid surgery or worse.

I am not usually the one to ask for help in this way, but I am not sure where else to turn. My car died a month ago and with it I lost my job. I’ve recently began working more regularly again but not quick enough to prepare myself for our current situation. My love for my animals far exceeds my pride or any other material possessions so I am asking for your help so I can help my Monster kitty heal.
