"Support Monique’s Stroke Recovery"

Hello Everyone,

My name is Lucy, and I am writing on behalf of my dear friend and coworker.

On January 30th, Mo suffered a severe stroke that changed her and her family's lives in an instant. This stroke has left her with limited mobility and in need of specialized care. After weeks of care and inpatient rehabilitation to regain her independence, Mo is ready to head home to her 5-year-old son and be under the care of her parents. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover all expenses, and the costs for this necessary therapy are overwhelming. We are raising funds to cover the ongoing rehabilitation costs, home medical equipment and any other personal expenses and/or financial hardships that her family is facing during these hard times. Any donation helps her journey to recovery.

She is a mom of a sweet boy named Angelo who saved her life by calling grandma on the phone for help while Mo was going through this tragic experience. Thanks to this sweet angel, Mo is alive.

Mo has a sweet, generous, and kind soul. She has great motivation to come out of this not only for herself but for her son and her family. As we all know, it takes a village to take on these life events. She is always there to lend a hand when someone is in need, and we want to return the love she has shown everyone.
