Support Monique's Recovery and Repairs

I’m raising funds on behalf of my colleague and friend, Monique Grace. 2025 was supposed to be a milestone year in her life. Her son, Channing, will be graduating high school in May and will be off to college in the fall. So much excitement with a lot of expense that Monique had saved for. But then the unexpected happened. Monique fell on March 20th causing severe nerve damage to her knee. As she has been working on what will be long-term recovery, her house flooded causing extensive damage to her bathroom and master closet. Unaware that this had been an ongoing issue, as she started clearing out her belongings to assess the damage, a large amount of mold was discovered. Everything had to be ripped out of her bathroom and closet. To add insult to injury, her homeowners insurance isn’t covering any of the damage which she is planning to fight with the help of a lawyer.

Since insurance isn’t covering the cost, Monique is having to exhaust all of the funds that she saved for her son’s graduation and getting him set up at University of Texas in the fall.

I want to urgently raise funds for her to get her bathroom fixed. It’s unusable, so she has to use her second story bathroom which is very difficult with her knee injury.

For those of you who know Monique, you know that she is the kindest person and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. As a single mom, she has raised a wonderful son. She’s so strong and works so hard, but now she needs our help.
