Hi. My name is Monica. I am reaching out to raise a tuition down payment for my niece.

She graduated in May and is all set for the next stage in education. There was some technicalities with her financial aid and scholarships. They were not processed due to guardianship issues. My mom was her legal guardian, and she was killed in a horrific drag racing accident on the expressway on September 1,2024. I have attempted to apply for guardianship but was told that since she will be 18 September 5,2025, there is no need for a guardian custody case due to the process timing. She is an honor student with ambitions and I don't want her to be discouraged by this hiccup. Therefore, we are trying to rally as a village and get the down payment that will be necessary for her to start August 9,2025 as planned. The tuition is $13000 for the semester but she is required to pay 20% by 7/28/2025. And to make matters worse, we just received this information on Friday. Anything would help and be greatly appreciated.
