I am a wife, mother of three children, and mental health therapist. I wanted to update people and let them know that my heart transplant was successful. I am still in recovery. I have to do cardiac rehab, occupational therapy, physical therapy and get monthly heart biopsies. I am doing so much better and I’m grateful for all that I’ve supported me. It has been challenging for my family, but we know that people care so I wanted to update you. And for your continued support. My goal is to finish the $10,000 fundraiser and then start to work with other organ transplant recipients. It is truly an experience like none other. It is life-changing, both physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Also, I had to have carpal tunnel and tunnel surgery recently , which was one of the effects from the heart transplant.
