Support Monica's Journey to Dharma Leadership
Donation protected
Hi Everyone. I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all – I have been accepted into the Community Dharma Leaders (CDL) program facilitated by Spirit Rock! This opportunity means the world to me as it will allow me to deepen my practice and contribute more meaningfully to our community.
Two years ago, I arrived at IMS to serve in the Retreat Support position for what was supposed to be just one year. However, my journey has continued, and I have found immense joy and gratitude in being part of such a vibrant Sangha. My love for the Dharma has only grown stronger, and now I have been granted the chance to expand my practice and knowledge even further through the CDL program.
The CDL program spans two years and is designed to empower dharma practitioners like myself to take on leadership roles within our communities, with a strong emphasis on social justice. This program aligns perfectly with my aspirations to serve and contribute positively to our collective journey.
However, pursuing this opportunity comes with financial hurdles. The program costs $9,000, and although I have been fortunate to receive scholarship funds from Spirit Rock, I still need to raise at least an additional $5,000 to cover the remaining program fees and expenses such as travel to the West Coast, where I will be required to attend four sessions throughout the program.
Your generosity means the world to me because it enables me to bring back valuable insights and teachings to share with our community as a whole.
If you would like to support me in this journey, you can make a donation through GoFundMe, or reach out to me directly if you have any questions or would like more information about the program.
Thank you so much for considering my request. I am deeply grateful for your support, encouragement, and belief in my journey as a practitioner and aspiring community leader.
With Metta,
