Support Monica's Fresh Start with Her Boys

Meet Monica and her three sweet boys. Earlier this year, Monica managed to escape a marriage where she and her boys suffered abuse of many kinds from their husband and father. As relieving as this sounds, it is not without its challenges. Monica is currently working with the court system to regain custody of her children who have been placed in temporary care in order to allow Monica time to provide a safe space for them to call their new home.

Just a few weeks ago, Monica was approved for her own apartment, HOORAY!! Her move-in date is set for June 10th. However, due to the copious amount of financial abuse by her husband, she is left with past due utility accounts that prevent her from opening new accounts in her name at her apartment.

Monica is working diligently to save funds to move into this new place for her family, and needs a helping hand to ensure that her goals are met in a timely manner. $300-400 is the bare minimum that she is asking for in order to correct the past due utility accounts. But I believe there is enough generosity in our community to help her rebuild a comfortable life for her and her boys. I hope that we are able to raise enough to allow her to purchase some housewarming gifts and items for her boys with the extra funds.
