This policy decision — entirely outside of Monica’s control — meant that when her work visa came up for renewal in March 2026, it could not be processed or approved.

Overnight, Monica went from a lawfully working professional with a stable life to someone facing a deeply uncertain future — uncertain employment, uncertain housing, uncertain everything.
