We, as coworkers of Monica McDowell at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC, are trying to help raise money for treatment of metastatic colon cancer. Anyone that knows Monica knows she would be the first in line to help others, and we want to be that for her. She is a very kind, giving, and selfless person who would never ask on her own.

The past year, she has undergone surgery to remove the colon cancer only to find it had spread to her liver. She began chemo and found she also has genetic mutations, which cause the much-needed chemo to be far harder on her than normal. Her family is now looking at MD Anderson and Mexico for treatment options. After a hard financial year, she needs help she doesn't want to ask for, so we are asking on her behalf.
