Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,

As many of you know, my mom, Moneida, has been courageously battling kidney disease for a long time. After months of waiting, she was finally able to undergo a life-saving kidney transplant on Tuesday, April 1st. While this is a huge milestone in her journey toward better health, it also comes with its own set of emotional and financial challenges.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from each of you. Your prayers, well wishes, and kind thoughts have meant the world to us, and we cannot thank you enough for being by our side during this time.

Even though my mom is an incredibly strong fighter, she will not be able to return to work for about 90 days as she focuses on her recovery. As a result, there are some areas where we may need help to ease the burden during this time. Specifically, we could use assistance with rent, transportation to and from medical appointments, food, and co-pays for medications.
