This is Mona. Her human daddy has loved her since she was eight weeks old and has been with her every step of the way, from her own puppyhood to watching her raise her own babies. After taking the next step into our adult lives, we couldn't bear to leave her behind. Mona came with us for a new kind of adventure, in our own little space, and she’s continued to be the sweetest girl. Her favorite things are to cuddle and to steal snacks. Recently, Mona had a vet checkup, and they identified cancer concerns. Unfortunately, we can’t afford costs of continuing diagnostic care and surgeries to remove the lumps/tumors. We are asking the community for support in continuing Mona’s life. While initially, our goal was to allow her to live out whatever years she has left, we have watched a new version of Mona, reminiscent of her younger days, emerge, rejuvenated on this journey.
