Hi! I am Mona Gardner and I play clarinet in the Lehi High School Marching Band. It is one of my favorite things to do. We work really hard. I sweat through all-day rehearsals in the blazing sun during the summer (8:00 am-8:00 pm). I memorize pages and pages of drill and spend every spare minute in the fall after school at rehearsals. And I do it all willingly! But here is the catch: marching band costs a lot of money. We have band camp, uniforms, props, traveling to competitions, meals, and reeds. So. Many. Reeds.

Even a few dollars makes a big difference. Thanks for helping me make music, memories, and maybe a few squeaky notes along the way!
