Support Mom's Well: A Water Crisis In Bakerton WV

The Story:

The small town of Bakerton, WV and some of its eldest residents have been on a community well water system for 45+ years. This community well water system is currently failing, has limited volunteers, limited funds, the water is not potable and it’s in danger of not being available to many homes very soon.

Who You Can Help:

My mother has been part of the Bakerton, WV community for 30+. She lives on a limited income (as many do in this area) and she needs any help you can spare to raise funds for a private well water system at her home. Without the installation of this private well she may be forced to live in a home with no running water in 2025 or find a way to relocate.

We have tried to get a grant from the USDA and there is unfortunately no funding.
