I’m reaching out today because my mom needs help.

This past year has been the hardest of her life. She’s been living in constant, excruciating pain that has completely changed her daily life. She can only manage short walks from her bed to the car, or from the car to her desk. She hasn’t been able to enjoy the things she loves—attending events, going out with friends, or playing her favorite sport, softball.

After months of suffering, we finally have an answer: surgery. This is the only way for her to find relief and get her life back. Unfortunately, my mom doesn’t have health insurance and doesn’t qualify for state coverage.

The cost of her surgery is around $14,000, and with nearly two months of recovery time when she won’t be able to work, her bills will add another $7,000. She isn’t asking for more than she needs—just enough to cover the surgery and her basic living expenses while she heals.

My mom is the strongest, most selfless person I know, and she deserves the chance to live without pain. With your help, she can get this surgery, recover, and finally get back to work and to living the life she loves.
