This GoFundMe campaign has been established to support my mother, who has been courageously battling lung cancer for the past year. She had a lobe of her lung removed and a large amount of her diaphragm, as well as a handful of other invasive surgery. Those familiar with my mother know that she is an exceptionally selfless individual who consistently prioritizes the needs of others over her own. Throughout her life, she has demonstrated remarkable resilience, raising four children, surviving an extended abusive marriage, and navigating numerous challenges. Despite her current health struggles, she remains fiercely independent. However, her daily life would be significantly enhanced by access to a reliable vehicle equipped with functional air conditioning, working windshield wipers, and that starts and goes withour question. My objective is to provide her with a suitable vehicle, cover her car insurance premiums for a year, and acquire some essential personal items that she would not otherwise request due to her limited financial resources while living on social security. Access to nutritional drinks and higher calorie foods is important as her weight has dropped and the goal is to increase it.

This go fund me is a secret as my mother would never ask for help but I know she has so many people who care for her and if we all come together to give her something she could desperately use to get herself around and continue to heal without the worry of how she is going to get to the store or a doctors appointment if needed.
