Support Mom's Fight Against Aggressive Cancer

I am creating this GoFundMe for my mom, who has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive late-stage cancer of her bile duct. We are trying to raise money for the medical bills and the mortgage for the house my parents just purchased. They finally bought their dream home, and now my mom can no longer work to help with the payments. Most donations made will be going towards the mortgage.

Her medical history started when she got pregnant with me 24 years ago; she discovered she had congestive heart failure. She was born with aortic stenosis, and one of her valves wasn’t keeping up. She wasn’t expected to live long enough to have me, but God gave her a miracle. In 2015, she had a partial heart transplant through open-heart surgery to replace that valve with a pig valve. In 2018, she was then diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had to undergo a full hysterectomy to remove the cancer. Then, in 2022, she discovered that the pig valve was failing, and she was required to undergo another open-heart surgery to replace the valve a second time with a mechanical valve. Now, in 2024, she has been diagnosed with late-stage aggressive cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. She was in the hospital twice because the cancer has spread to her lungs and liver. This was also causing some bleeding into her right lung, which needed drainage with chest tubes. Then she bled into her stomach and lost so much blood that she was minutes from dying before they got to her with a transfusion. She is looking at many more treatments and procedures ahead of her.
