Hi everyone, I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom during a really difficult time. Recently, her car’s engine completely died, and repairing it has become more than we can manage on our own right now.

It’s how she gets to church, and just as importantly, how she helps others get there too. She regularly uses her car to give rides to people in her community who aren’t able to get around on their own, including members of her church choir who rely on her to make it to practices. She also helps friends get to places they need to be, simply out of the kindness of her heart. Beyond that, it’s how she runs her errands and takes care of her day-to-day needs, especially when my siblings and I aren’t available to help. Losing it has taken away a big part of her freedom, and it’s been hard to watch.

My mom is someone who has always done her best to stay strong and self-sufficient, even while dealing with health challenges that have made working difficult. She doesn’t ask for much, and that’s exactly why I wanted to step in and ask for support on her behalf.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to repair the engine and get her safely back on the road. Any amount, no matter how small, would truly make a difference. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much.
