My mom, Laura, has stage 4 breast cancer and it has moved to her liver. She was in chemo in Casper, Wyoming, but she moved her treatment to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. We felt it was the better option.

She can no longer work because the chemo is knocking her down. My stepdad is working all the hours he can to be able to keep monthly bills paid. Mom is going back and forth to Arizona, staying 3-4 weeks at a time. She has friends and my grandma there taking care of her. Her chemo is every 3 weeks. When she feels up to it, she flies home to be with me and my stepdad in our home for a week.

It is costing more for her to do this, but we are trying to get the best treatment we can to prolong her life. We are asking for prayers for a healing for my mom, and for help financially so she can continue to get her chemo in Arizona through the end of the year.
