On Wednesday, 11/13/2024, my mom was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time. She was diagnosed with lung cancer, mesothelioma. Her oncologist wants to start chemo as soon as possible, but as you can imagine, her copays are very expensive. Mom’s first round of chemo is scheduled for 12/9/2024 and will need to pay $1,500 up front. Then come January, she will need to pay an additional $3,400.
