Momo is a queer WOC who is in need of urgent financial assistance after several stays at a mental health hospital. Her most recent stay has been especially challenging: Momo was subjected to an involuntary hold, but the facility still charged her for her stay, which completely emptied her accounts. In fact, they failed to provide her with any financial resources, despite expressly acknowledging that Momo is at risk for homelessness.

 

Asking for help is not easy for Momo, but she has nowhere else to turn — no safety net and no familial support. Any money raised will help Momo secure safe housing and pay for medical bills accrued while she was hospitalized.

 

Anyone who has met Momo knows that she is loved by her friends and cares deeply about others. She is incredibly generous with the people in her life, and she deserves support in return. We are calling on her community to help her find some stability during a difficult time. Any bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
