Help Us Support Momma Through Her Battle With Glioblastoma

Over the past few weeks, our world has been turned upside down. Our momma—our heart and soul—suddenly began struggling with her speech and memory. After rushing her to the ER, we received news no family ever wants to hear: doctors found a large, inoperable mass deep in her brain, covering both hemispheres. She has been diagnosed with stage 3/4 glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive and terminal brain cancer.

Because of the tumor’s location, surgery is not an option. Her care team will be focusing on radiation and other treatments to help extend her time with us and to give her the best quality of life possible. While we are hopeful treatment will bless us with extra months—maybe even years—we are also painfully aware that every single day we have left together is a precious gift.

As you can imagine, the emotional weight of this diagnosis is overwhelming. On top of that, we’re now facing the financial strain of medical expenses, treatments, travel for appointments, and the day-to-day costs of making sure Momma is comfortable and cared for. We want to focus all of our energy on surrounding her with love and creating happy memories in the time we have left, not worrying about how we’ll manage the bills.
