For anyone who knows my Mom, you know she's not
just "Tina."
She's Momma Tina. Momma T. Momma.
She is the kind of person who takes care of everyone
around her before herself. Strong, independent,
loving, selfless, and endlessly caring - the kind of
person who makes people feel safe just by being near
her. Even if you only met her once, you probably
remember her warmth.
Recently, our family received the news that my
momma has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.
Let Gods will be ours.
If you know her, then you also know that asking for
help is one of the hardest things she could ever do.
Or anyone as a matter of fact. Strength is often
imagined as handling everything alone, but true
strength is also allowing others to stand beside you
when life becomes overwhelming.
