Support Momma Corbin's Cancer fight
Donation protected
As many of you know, my mom (Karen Corbin/Momma Corbin) has been fighting metastatic ovarian cancer since February. It has spread to several other organs and she had been going through chemotherapy treatments. We found out recently that the chemo isn't working. She will be returning home with hospice care today, July 11th, and will be spending the rest of her time in the presence of her loving family. Any support that can be given would be greatly appreciated to assist with her care. She is an amazing mother, grandmother, and surrogate parent to many. We had hoped that she could beat this for a longer time.
In November of 2023, she went into the hospital with an unknown illness. She was in kidney failure and had to have a perforation where her stomach attached to her intestines. She was in the hospital for several weeks, went home for a brief time, and ended up back at the hospital in December. After a few other hospitalizations from December to February, it was found that she had post-menopausal metastatic ovarian cancer. She began working with Dr. Barlin at the Women's Cancer Care Center and they found that it was inoperable and it had already spread to her liver as well. It has been a tough time for our family and with all the hospitalizations and doctor's visits, we have a lot of copays and fees that need to be paid. So any assistance or support would be appreciated and treasured.
