Support Momentum Aerial Through the Pandemic

Momentum was founded in January of 2018, by aerialists Morgan Louvier and Joanie Garcia alongside their talented team of instructors. Momentum Aerial is an important space for many in our community. In the last 2.5 years, Momentum Aerial has grown from one 1,700 sqft. warehouse bay and 40 weekly classes to a thriving aerial program over two times that size. People come to Momentum to experience community, health, joy, expression, creativity and the incredible power of aerial arts.

We are missing our students, our studio and our classes, and we know our students are missing us too. “As a parent, I am so grateful for all that Momentum has done for my child. She is really missing the opportunity to take classes and see the aerial community during this time.” Gessica Nelson

We are doing everything we can to ensure that Momentum Aerial makes it to the other side of the pandemic, and is able to once again offer aerial classes to the community of Flagstaff. We have applied for the Small Business Economic Disaster Loan and the Paycheck Protection Program, as well as the COVID-19 Emergency Funding through the Flagstaff Arts Council, but funding is uncertain. Unfortunately, we have not received any funding so far from federal, state or grant programs.
We are reaching out to our community and our supporters to ask for help covering one month of our costs. Momentum Aerial is in an all too familiar situation for small businesses right now; paying rent, insurance, utilities, and (a reduced) payroll, all while income has slowed to a trickle. We are asking for donations of any amount to help keep the Momentum going until we can get back to our passion of teaching aerial arts to the community, because we cannot imagine a future for Flagstaff without Momentum Aerial!
