Hello everyone,
My name is Connie Leach, and I am reaching out to you to support my beloved daughter, Molly. In February of 2024 at the age of 39, Molly was diagnosed with stage 3C clear cell ovarian cancer. This has been an incredibly challenging time, but Molly has shown remarkable strength and determination throughout.
Molly's diagnosis came as a shock to our family. She has endured numerous surgeries, chemotherapies, immunotherapies, and various palliative therapies. Despite all these challenges, Molly continues to carry herself with grace and hope, even when fear and anxiety completely overwhelm her.
Molly is truly an inspiration. She has been able to continue working full-time remotely as a mental health therapist for veterans, managing her professional responsibilities while also taking necessary time for her hospitalizations, treatments, and travel to meet with her oncology treatment team at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Molly's most recent scan, conducted in September, along with her lab results, have been encouraging. Her next scan is scheduled for December, and we remain hopeful and prayerful for positive news.
How You Can Help
Our family has been incredibly blessed with emotional and financial support from friends and loved ones. However, as you can imagine, the costs associated with Molly's treatment continue to mount, including both covered and uncovered medical expenses. We are reaching out for additional financial support to cover:
- Continued treatment costs
- Increased insurance co-pays
- Doubled out-of-pocket expenses
- Travel expenses to MD Anderson
- Costly adjunctive therapies
Any monetary support you can provide will be immensely appreciated. Your contributions will go directly towards alleviating the financial burden on Molly as she continues her courageous fight against cancer.
Please continue to pray for Molly and send her positive thoughts.
On behalf of our family, thank you very much for your generosity and support.
Sincerely, Connie
