Hiii there, I'm Molly & I'm living with epilepsy. It's apart of me I don't talk about much & most people go without knowing because it's not always visible. It goes unknown that a seizure can disrupt my life to the point of burnout... that can take loads of time to recover from

This past year I've had seizures about every other week... some months even more.

What a seizure (in a safe space) looks like..
meaning I'm able to take a seat or lay down when I feel the aura come on

Full body convulsions for 2-3 minutes, disorientation for an hour +

exhaustion on every level.. think you've been exhausted?? try having a seizure...
Even a seizure without additional injuries has me in bed for at least 48 hours.

Seizures at home stay at home.. that goes different in public
My most recent seizure was grocery shopping. I was alone, passed out, hit my jaw, broke my two front teeth & severally bruised my knee. Emotionally & physically, I am still recovering.

Living with epilepsy in this world, makes it difficult to survive.
Keeping a job isn't possibly, can't drive, anxiety doing new things
It's been a battle to get into a proper specialist, which is needed to even begin the disability application.

I'm creating this to fill the gap as I go through the process of applying for disability. Any supportive contribution is greatly appreciated.

these are photos of my injuries
on September 21st 2025, I had a seizure on the train while commuting to teach a wire wrapping workshop. I had no choice but to push through the class because I needed the money to survive. I shared the photo of us all together after the class & then a student took me to the ER for stitches.

Once I hit my head & had to get 7 staples

Had one in a public restroom & had to get stitches around my eye

In October I spent a week in the hospital at an epilepsy monitoring unit. Had 8 partial seizures & still on a wait list to see the proper neurologist for my type of epilepsy.

Thank you for your support
May your life be filled with many blessings
much love,
Mollymorphosis
