Hi everyone,

Our bright and beautiful Molly Fowler is in need of our urgent help.

Molly has been suffering from severe Long Covid-related symptoms for 9 months now, presenting as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (known as "ME/CFS" for short, more info here if you're unfamiliar: https://www.omf.ngo/what-is-mecfs/) on top of already navigating Long Covid and Fibromyalgia for the past few years. And, as anyone familiar with auto immune illnesses will know, the system is woefully unable to assist people in Molly's position.

Molly is an artist in Los Angeles who, prior to becoming sick, was pursuing a career in Film & Television, Dance, and Musical Theatre. Molly spread healing through community yoga classes, loved to weigh lift, go hiking, play at the beach, and stay active with her friends any way she could. She has a passion for cooking and dreams of starting a Private Chef and home baking business. However, Molly has had to put everything on hold and shift all of her goals towards healing and seeking medical treatments.

Molly is now nearly immobilized most days. She spends a large portion of her time resting flat in bed, with eye and ear protection, and must carefully calculate every ounce of her energy. Any venture outside her home or small over-exertion runs the risk of causing her to crash from Post Exertional Malaise (or "PEM" - info here: https://youtu.be/TGIo1v7KVJQ), which can last for weeks and ultimately further deteriorate her baseline. And the journey to qualify for disability and unemployment has been fraught. She qualifies for help from Medi-Cal, but it will not cover any visits to the specialists that Molly needs to see, and does not cover the specific medications she has been prescribed.

In the short term, Molly needs help to pay her housing costs as she attempts to stabilize. Long term, she would like to travel to the Autonomic Disorders Clinic at Stanford University to get specialized treatment.

Donations will go directly towards:

- Housing costs

- Out-of-network doctor visits

- Necessary tests, scans, and treatment aimed at improving function and quality of life

- Travel to specialists

- Out-of-pocket medication

If you don't know Molly, please know that she is constantly nurturing her community with what little energy she has. She is a young, ambitious dancer/actor/singer, so this huge dip in her quality of life is so scary for her and for those of us who love her. Molly is always there with a sympathetic ear, a homemade vegan treat and a tight hug for those who need it. She *really* needs to feel our love right now!
