As many of you know, Molly was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer in March 2025. Further testing showed that it has spread to the nearest lymph nodes under her arm. To begin her treatment, Molly is having a double mastectomy on May 15 and will then undergo radiation treatment followed by reconstructive surgeries.

Molly is one of the strongest women I know, and has shown up to support so many of us over the years, whether as a dear friend, teacher, coach, tutor, sister, cousin, niece, etc. As a public school teacher, she is already underpaid and overworked, and has a high-deductible health insurance plan. In addition, she faces many medical and non-medical expenses that are not covered at all. Molly has already needed to take time off work and she will be out for many more weeks to come. Donald is self-employed and despite being the hardest immigrant worker we know, his job is never guaranteed and especially fraught due to the current political atmosphere. In other words, if you're able, they could use your help.
