Hi, my name is Molly, and I am an Assistant Life Enrichment Director, a devoted mother of three, and a parishioner at Prince of Peace.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming love, compassion, and support you’ve shown during this incredibly challenging time. My family and I are facing a heartbreaking reality—one we never imagined—and we’re reaching out with hope in our hearts and faith in the kindness of others.

Right now, we’re battling a mountain of medical expenses that have already reached $10,000 and continue to grow. I urgently need to cover the deductible for multiple surgeries, which are critical for my survival and well-being. I am fighting severe health issues, including a hiatal hernia, severe bowel reflux, and an overproducing liver of acidic bile. And they still are working on the root cause of it all. They fear I am suffering a life long rare condition that is uncurable. KU has taken on my care but I have yet to get an answer and solution. On top of that, I’ve lost now 40 pounds since Christmas with rapid weight loss continuing to threaten my strength and health.

This journey has taken a devastating toll on my body, my mental health, and my family’s emotional well-being. We are physically, emotionally, and financially drained. Yet, despite the pain and fear, we hold onto hope—with faith that there are compassionate hearts willing to help us through this storm.

I am currently on short-term disability, but it isn’t enough to cover our growing medical and normal cost.
